nth degree

nth degree
Although not mathematically accurate, nth degree is a popular expression for "the utmost extent" or "to a high degree or power": "Abigail believes in living life to the nth degree." Aside from there being no sense of largeness or greatness in the expression, the only flaw in its use is triteness.
